Internal Knowledge Base / RAG

A private, retrieval-augmented search across every doc, ticket, and Slack thread your company has produced. Ask a question - get a cited answer in 240 milliseconds, sourced from the four most relevant chunks.

What the managed workflow does

Indexes everything once

Wikis, tickets, Notion pages, Slack threads, runbooks, canvases. Re-indexed nightly with embedding-version tracking so old answers stay reproducible.

Retrieves the four best chunks

Vector search over a 1,536-dim space, re-ranked against query intent. Median 240ms cold, 90ms warm.

Answers with citations

Every claim ties back to a numbered source pin. The pin links to the paragraph it came from - not the doc, the paragraph.

Catches its own drift

Weekly evals run a benchmark question set. If accuracy on the canonical set drops, the index gets flagged and an owner gets paged.

Sources indexed

  • Wikis. Confluence, Notion, internal handbooks - chunked and embedded with hierarchy preserved.

  • Tickets. Zendesk, Linear, Jira - historical resolutions become canonical answers for repeat questions.

  • Slack threads. Channel + DM messages with retention windows; threaded conversations preserved as a unit.

  • Internal runbooks + docs. Markdown, Google Docs, Word - anything humans wrote down that someone else might look up.

Surfaced as

  • Cited answers. Every assertion ties to numbered source pins; minimum 4 sources for any non-trivial answer.

  • Source-linked retrieval. Pins link back to the exact paragraph in the source doc, not just the doc itself.

  • Confidence + latency. Every response carries its own confidence score and cold/warm latency telemetry.

  • Drift-checked evals. Weekly benchmark set; accuracy regressions page the owning team automatically.

What you get, every week

An end to 'where's that doc'

The answer arrives, with citations. The doc is one click away if anyone wants the long version.

Knowledge that stays usable

Slack threads, ticket histories, and old runbooks become first-class search targets - not buried context that someone has to remember.

An evaluable answer engine

Accuracy is a number, not a vibe. Drifts get caught and fixed before someone makes a wrong call on stale guidance.
